Kate Swadling

Voice

Kate Swadling sings jazz, works with community choirs, and performs in schools for Musica Viva. In the late 80’s and early 90’s she led a group called ‘Any Woman’s Blues’. A popular choice in venues around Sydney, they were also featured on ABC television and radio.

Kate has recorded with many of Sydney’s finest jazz musicians and is currently working on a new recording, Songs For Anne. She has a Diploma in Jazz Studies and is studying for a Bachelor of Music at the University of Western Sydney. She lives in the Blue Mountains with her young son and middle aged husband.
