Australia’s first giving day for the arts.
Australia Art Orchestra is calling on supporters to contribute funds to our new Composer in Residence Program in partnership with TarraWarra Museum of Art as part of AusArt Day 2025.
AusArt Day is a nationwide, sector-wide fundraising initiative designed to mobilise artists and arts organisations to raise funds for their work and creative ambitions on a single, powerful day. This unified call to action aims to amplify the visibility of arts philanthropy and inspire greater generosity across the country.
This inaugural event is more than a fundraiser—it's a national public movement that celebrates and elevates the role of the arts in Australian life.

OUR FUNDING FOCUS
Composer in Residence Program
Via application, a selected composer will be commissioned to create a new work for AAO, inspired by the exhibited and archived works on site at the Museum - created by some of Australia's most celebrated contemporary visual artists. The successful applicant will also have access to on-site accommodation at TarraWarra for a period of up to 3 weeks, and will see their work premiered at the Eva & Marc Besen Centre by the Australian Art Orchestra.
